Apple’s Annual End-of-Summer Music Event is On
Just as they have since 2005, Apple will be holding a special event at the Yerba Buena center in San Francisco at 10am, this Wednesday, September 1st. If the event notification is in any indication, this should be a music-themed event, probably focusing on the iPod line.
What are the pundits saying Jobs and Co. will deliver? We’ve rounded up the flotsam and jetsam from around the blogosphere to give you an idea of what we could see on stage:
Peter Kafka over at All Things Digital thinks we may see a social sharing feature in iTunes.
MacRumors brings us rumors of a drastic change to the iPod nano form factor.
MacDailyNews brings news of a camera on the iPod touch (can you say FaceTime?), and possibly iTunes TV show rentals.
MacNN notes the possibility of an “iTunes in the cloud” announcement, with an updated MacBook air listed as a “wildcard possibility”.
Does anyone outside of Cupertino know for sure what will be on stage? No, but it’s always fun to see what the rumor mill dreams up (and what Apple actually delivers.)
Rest assured, once we have all the details we’ll get you the latest – totally speculation free.
